Our cozy a-frame cabin and log cabin offer everything you need for a comfortable stay, including bed linens and pillows, bath and kitchen towels, utensils and cookware, a BBQ area (with propane provided for the grill) for grilling your favorite meals, Starlink high speed internet (for your own streaming accounts), and a delightful fire pit for those incredible starry nights. It's a true home away from home.

Hi! We’re Garrett and Veronica, a passionate couple who love creating memorable experiences for our guests. Along with our adventurous daughter and our friendly golden retriever, we enjoy exploring everything the Hocking Hills region has to offer. Whether it’s hiking, discovering new restaurants, or simply enjoying nature, we make the most of our time when staying at the cabins. We completely renovated our a-frame and log cabin in a way to reflect the warmth and hospitality we value, and we’re excited to share it with you. We hope you feel right at home and enjoy the beauty of our cabins and surroundings as much as we do!

  • "What a great home. My wife and I, and our dog, loved it. Extremely clean. Beautiful, private surroundings. Hocking Hills trails and parks were very accessible. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to get back there soon."

  • "The cabin was pristine and comfortable, in a beautiful location close to Lake Hope and Zaleski State Forest. We enjoyed canoeing on the lake and hiking in Hocking Hills. We appreciated the dog-friendly touches (bowls, etc.) and the bottled water in the fridge. We were able to get essentials (ground coffee, more bottled water) at the nice grocery store the hosts recommended in McArthur. Garrett and Veronica were very responsive."

FAQ

  • Check-in time is at 4:00 PM, and check-out time is at 11:00 AM.

  • Our cabins are not child-proofed, however, child are welcome! We provide some children’s books and games at the cabins, along with Nintendo systems (mini Nintendo classic at the a-frame, and mini SNES at the log cabin).

  • Firewood is available at the cabins, however, we charge $5 per bundle. All of this money goes to our neighbor, who is kind enough to cut the firewood and deliver it to the cabins.

  • Although we do not have hiking trails on our property, the cabins are within a short drive to many wonderful hiking trails, including numerous trails at Lake Hope State Park, Ash Cave, among other awesome Hocking Hills region trails! There is also a canoe livery just down the road.

  • A maximum of two dogs are welcome, subject to breed restrictions (darn insurance)! We think it’s only fair to allow dogs - we bring our own when we visit! You're welcome to bring your furry family members.
